Digital Communications

 Digital communications refers to the process in which two or more computers or devices transfer data, instructions and information.

For example, when a student sends an assignment through email:

1. The laptop acts as the sending device.
2. The Wi-Fi router acts as a communications device.
3. The Internet acts as the communications channel.
4. The lecturer’s computer or smartphone acts as the receiving device.
